Step by step

  1. 1

    Open Identity verification

From the dashboard banner or the account menu, open KYC. You'll see one card per required document.

  2. 2

    Upload your government ID

Add a clear photo of the front, then the back. NIN slip, driver's licence, voter's card or passport data page all work.

Tip: Shoot in daylight, flat on a dark surface, with all four corners visible and no glare.

  3. 3

    Add proof of address

A utility bill, bank statement or tenancy agreement dated within the last 3 months, showing your name and address.

  4. 4

    Take a selfie

Hold your ID beside your face. This is matched against the document you uploaded.

  5. 5

    Submit and track status

Status moves Pending → Approved or Rejected. Approval is usually same business day; you'll see the status on your dashboard.

Questions

Why is KYC required before I buy?

Pledges and purchases are blocked until your identity is approved — that's what keeps the cap table clean and lets us pay you out legally.

What if a document is rejected?

The rejection reason is shown on the card. Re-upload a clearer or more recent document; there's no penalty for retrying.
